10 Things I Hate about AgentSync

This Valentine’s Day, we decided to work in the style of the classic 1999 teen movie and write a love letter that’ll make you laugh. We take compliance very seriously but that doesn’t mean we have to take ourselves seriously. (I mean, have you seen what we did last April Fool’s Day? Or on Groundhog Day? Or National Compliance Officers Day?)

We’re exactly the kind of romantic combination you hate to love in a rom-com. You love cost savings, you love growth, you loathe compliance headaches. AgentSync should be an obvious match. Alas, romance is never that simple. 

Cost savings and compliance might feel too different. They might feel weird. But they’re the peanut butter to each others’ jelly. The cinnamon spice to each others’ pumpkin chai latte. Like “10 Things I Hate About You,” which merges the plotline of Billy Shakespeare’s classic “The Taming of the Shrew” with the scathing teen romantic drama of the ‘90s and early ‘00s, we like to help our customers match legacy concepts with modern insurance infrastructure. 

Like any good ‘90s or early ‘00s romance, though, it’s OK if you start out your expression of love for compliance + efficiency by feeling like a hater. We all know how it ends, though.

10 Things I Hate About AgentSync

I hate the way you give me control over compliance
Ending worries of what licenses might be standing in defiance
Now my producers and adjuster teams are locked in tight
And I hate the way my whole team now sleeps better at night

I hate the way you simplify the producer onboarding process
Depriving me of hours answering agents in distress
And hundreds of emails sent “just checking on the status”
As my team and I field all the stress-filled communication thrown at us

I hate the way you bake compliance into every step
And eliminate so much work I do to make sure that I prep
For conversations about why a producer can’t sell yet
Because there’s risk in skipping through without compliance checks

I hate the way your Scorecard gives me at-a-glance visibility
into the compliance of my total producer workforce reliably.
Now I know when people are up-to-date or not instead of using my gut
to assess our structure’s compliance with our requirements – or not.

I hate the way you integrate with our other systems,
stopping unallowed sales and inappropriate commissions.
I never get to have uncomfortable conversations
with producers and adjusters about their compensation.

I hate how your autofill capabilities eliminate manual repetition
I used to use that time to catch up on the latest edition
Of whatever show or podcast could get me through the tedium
Retyping names and addresses with speed (and attention) that was medium

I hate how quickly you get producers making sales.
Speedy onboarding making it easy to recruit our whales.
It’s gross how much our producers now enjoy moving fast
Leaving “slow” and “non-compliance” behind as relics of the past

I hate the way you democratize knowledge at our organization
Now Kathy in compliance can finally take a vacation
It’s stupid that you take all of this knowledge out of people’s brains
And move it to a source of truth I really have to complain

I hate how you break down silos that keep us divided
And let us work as one team with a purpose that’s united
So we can delight our producers and make them want to work here
And help us look good while building a long-lasting career

Most of all I hate the way I really actually love you
And drama’s down like we finally turned off “The View”
For licensing, cost-at-scale, and appointing using Just-in-Time,
There’s really no one like you, AgentSync, be my Valentine.
