The proposed amendments would remove the ability to apply for a service representative license and remove the prelicensing education requirements, as provided in recently adopted Alabama Act No. 2023-104. [43 pages] Adoption of amendments to Insurance Regulation No. 148 [Chapter 482-1-148], which sets forth the requirements for licensing title insurance agents. The proposed amendments would remove the prelicensing education requirements, as provided in recently adopted Alabama Act No. 2023-104.
