On January 5, 2024, Wisconsin updated language clarifying exemptions for individual pre-licensing.

On January 5, 2024, Oregon updated the continuing education section to clarify that insurers must verify producers complete training courses to **recommend** **or** sell annuity products.

On January 4, 2024, Ohio updated the Pre-Licensing education section to include more clarity on education waivers. - Regarding exceptions, education waivers are issued by approved subject matter category individually. - Regarding active military, education waivers are issued by approved subject matter category individually.

Effective January 1, 2024 The Surplus Line Association of California has updated their Diligent Search Report Form reducing content in multiple sections. Please see attached for more detailed information.

On December 27, 2023, North Dakota Insurance Department announced that in 2024, appointment renewals will be processed electronically. Renewal Invoice and appointment list will be available on March 1st, 2024.

On January 8, 2024, The New Mexico Office of Superintendent of Insurance will host a roundtable to discuss updates to both resident and nonresident licensing for producers and adjusters, including updates to requirements for continuing education. Effective January 1, 2024, The Washington State Office of Insurance Commissioner will require additional CE including Best Interest Standards for residents and Nonresidents.
