Florida Follow Up Message Relate to MyProfile Updates
On September 8, 2023, Florida issued a statement related to recent MyProfile updates.  
We understand the recent 2-factor authentication security changes to our MyProfile system have resulted in hurdles for some of our customers. These changes were the result of an audit of our external systems, along with concerns that licensees’ accounts could be compromised. The changes we made fall in line with industry IT system security standards. As always, your feedback is very important to us. We will look for ways to give you access to the information you need to support your licensees and applicants in an efficient and secure manner. If we identify ways to accomplish this systematically, we will make every effort to enhance our systems. But as IT changes go, they may not have a quick turnaround. While we are open to ideas and suggestions, we may not be able to satisfy all concerns. We must remain mindful of the fine balance between keeping our licensees’ and applicants’ information secure, and providing the industry with the access they want to support their agents and adjusters.
