Posted December 9, 2025, North Carolina announces that the company appointment renewal invoices will be available for payment from February 3, 2026, to March 31, 2026. - The termination deadline is January 22, 2026 - The invoice grace renewal period is from April 1, 2026, to May 14, 2026 Please see the attachment for cost information.

Effective January 1, 2026, the California Department of Insurance removes the requirement to complete 20 hours of prelicensing education for individuals applying for the following Insurance Producers licenses: property, casualty, commercial lines, personal lines, limited line automobile, life, and accident and health or sickness Please see the attachment for more information.
Effective January 9, 2026, Maine will add a new license class for Producer Database display. The Temporary Apprentice license class will be for individuals only. The lines of authority for this license class are:
- Casualty - Credit - Health - Personal Lines - Property - Title Please see the attachment for more information.
Effective January 1, 2026, Alaska's Omnibus Insurance Bill will take effect. This bill changes the following license classes to line up with national uniformity: - Pharmacy Benefits Managers (PBMs) - Third-Party Administrators (TPAs) - Independent Adjusters - Designated Home States Please see the attachment for more information.
Effective January 1, 2026, Vermont will be updating the non-resident retaliatory fees for Delaware residents. These new fees range from an extra $5 to $25, depending on the license class. The following initial licenses will be listed at $155.00 for an initial license. - Insurance Producer - Limited Lines Producer - Auto Physical Damage - Title Agent - Adjuster - Producer Business Entity The following renewal license classes will now be $125.00 - Insurance Producer - Limited Lines Producer - Auto Physical Damage - Title Agent - Adjuster - Producer Business Entity

Effective January 9, 2026, Alaska will update: - Existing Lines of Authority description - Health -> Accident & Health or Sickness - Rules for allowed Designated Responsible Producer/Person entered on applications - Fees for - Pharmacy Benefit Manager (Initial, Reinstatement, and Renewals) - $300.00 -> $2000.00 - Third-Party Administrator (Initial, Reinstatement, and Renewals) - $300.00 -> $20000.00 All electronic processing of applications for Alaska will be turned off starting January 8, 2026, at 4 PM Central Time. Processing is expected to resume on January 9, 2026, at approximately 12:00 PM Central Time. Any applications submitted during this timeframe will be declined.
