Missouri and Oklahoma Are Updating License Eligibility Rules
Effective April 10, 2026, Missouri and Oklahoma will be updating rules involving US Citizenship eligibility for certain license classes.
- For Missouri, the following license classes require the applicant to be a US Citizen:
- Bail Bond Agent
- General Bail Bond Agent
- Surety Recovery Agent
- Oklahoma requires the applicant to be a US Citizen to be issued a Bail Bondsman license.
