Effective June 5, 2022, the following will be required for DE CAT adjusters. Within 10 days of adjustment work within the state, a written notice must be issued. The CAT license will be issued for 60 days unless extended by the commissioner. There is no cost for this license, but there is a small processing fee.

The conversion to PLMA standards is now to take effect on May 27th. Appointments and terminations applications will be turned off on May 20, 2022, at 6:00 pm central. See the original post for more details on the impact of this conversion.
This update calls out that with this conversion, specific licenses and license qualifications will be converted to comply with PLMA standards. Current licenses will become inactive on May 27, 2022 and new license types will be added to the record.
Additional language was added to determine if one qualifies for licensing. In summary, the language outlines that if an offense occurs 10 days or more from the license application date, they will not be considered.
Effective May 2, 2022, The technology surcharge fee is to be reduced from $20 to $15 for producer license applications, renewals, and reinstatements.
