Posted January 20, 2026, Washington sent out a bulletin informing the public that the Producer & Licensing Oversight (PLO) program is transitioning core insurance licensing transactions from the OIC Online system to be handled electronically.

Effective Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2026, all core licensing transactions must be completed electronically

- Reinstatements
- Reissues
- Name/address changes
OIC Online will continue to support limited functions such as DBA changes, license printing, and education history.
### Business entities
Effective Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2026, business entity name and address changes must also be completed electronically. All other business entity transactions remain unchanged.
