Who is AgentSync Onboarding for?

Carriers use it to onboard the producers who will sell their products and get them appointed. Agencies use it to onboard producers and get them licensed. Carriers can also onboard an entire agency through it: add the principal agent and the agency record is created in the same pass.

What does a producer actually have to type in?

Accepted Answer

Their National Producer Number and an email address. AgentSync pulls the rest of their record from NIPR: name, contact details, licenses, lines of authority, and appointments, and pre-fills the onboarding tasks with it. The producer only supplies what NIPR doesn’t hold, such as a driver’s license upload or an e-signature. If you don’t know a producer’s NPN yet, you can invite them with just a name and email and collect it later.

How long does onboarding take a producer?

Most producers finish in a single sitting, and customers report producers going to work the same day they contract. The forms arrive pre-filled from NIPR, the task list shows exactly what is left, and anyone who stalls is reminded automatically, so the process no longer waits on email.

Can we require our own documents or questions?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Onboarding is configurable, not customized: your admins decide which tasks are required and which documents must be uploaded, without a statement of work or a development ticket. A common example is a life carrier requiring proof that a producer has completed anti-money-laundering training before they can be appointed.

What happens when a producer doesn’t finish?

They get reminded, automatically, until the portal is complete. Your team can see where every producer is in the process and what they have and haven’t provided, so there is nothing to chase by hand. Send the invite and come back when it’s done.

Can agencies onboard their own producers?

Accepted Answer

Yes. An agency principal can be given the same roster and invite tools as a carrier admin, so they onboard their own producers and the work cascades down your distribution channel instead of piling up with your team.

Does it work with the compliance system we already run?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If you run AgentSync Manage, a completed onboarding notifies Manage and the producer’s full record, NIPR data, application answers and uploaded documents, appears there in one view. If you run something else, Onboarding stands on its own, and producer data and ready-to-sell status can be called from your systems through the ProducerSync API.

How long does it take to go live?

Thirty days. Week one your team configures the first onboarding workflow: fields, approval rules, post-submit actions. Week two you embed it on your site or in an invite link. Week three the first live producer completes the flow. Week four the funnel dashboard is live.
