Utah License Fee Exemptions Update
Effective May 27, 2026, Utah has revised the language regarding license fee exemptions for resident and nonresident individuals.
**Previous language:**
The spouse of an individual serving in the U.S. Armed Forces while the individual is stationed within Utah.
**Updated language:**
The spouse of an individual serving in the U.S. Armed Forces or the spouse of a DOD civilian, while the individual or DOD civilian is stationed within Utah.
