North Carolina Clarification and Pre-Licensing House Bill
Effective July 1, 2025, North Carolina passed a house bill that eliminates training course requirements for an insurance producer license. This bill also clarified wording around the following topics:
- Calculation and liquidity stress test requirements
- The North Carolina Professional Employer Organization Act
- The Insurance Guaranty Association Act,
- Insurance rebate permitted trade practices
- Laws relating to the exchange of business between insurance producers
