- Most companies have submitted the required data per Bulletin 25-02. This bulletin was made to inform that the Department of Insurance (DOI) is collecting detailed policy and claims information to conduct an analysis of the property insurance market within Idaho, specifically as it relates to wildfire. This data will enhance the Department’s understanding of affordability, availability, market dynamics, and insurer exposures, enabling the DOI to fulfill its statutory obligations to regulate the insurance industry and protect consumers.
- The DOI aims to analyze and verify data within 30 days, targeting final results by August 2025.
Licensing
- Insurance licensing exams in Spanish to begin August 1, 2025.
