Illinois Updated Language and CE For Navigator, In-person counselor, and Certified application counselor
Effective August 1, 2024, Illinois cleaned up language around: CE requirements, renewal window for certification, and how to perform activities on State-based Exchange around individual resident and nonresident licenses around the following license classes: navigator, in-person counselor, and certified application counselor.
Illinois updated causes for revocation involving when a felony conviction may not be a cause for action (suspend, revoke, or deny a license).
Conviction of a felony, unless the individual demonstrates sufficient rehabilitation to warrant the public trust

To perform navigator or certified application counselor activities in a State-based Exchange on the Federal Platform or a Federally-facilitated Exchange, applicants or certificate holders must use the online federal training curriculum to meet their pre-certification and CE requirements. Applicants and certificate holders must:
- Register for the Marketplace Learning Management System (MLMS) application at https://bit.ly/4e77Y3H
- Successfully complete the HHS approved training modules prescribed in MLMS for the applicable certification
