North Carolina Releases Bulletin on Catastrophic Event Procedures
In the event of a catastrophe the following procedure will need to be followed for motor vehicle appraisers.
Requirements:
- An ID badge is required
- Must be an insurance adjuster licensed by NC OR a vehicle damage appraiser licensed by NC OR a regular employee of an insurance adjuster OR a regular employee of motor vehicle damage appraisers licensed by the state
Details:
- License term is 30 days
- At the time of deployment, the employer must provide to the Licensing Section-Agent Services Division written notification with name name, state of residence, and license status of the adjuster/appraiser. This is to be emailed to CATAdjusterRequest@ncdoi.gov.
