Nevada Making Changes Related to Travel License Requirements
Effective July 1, 2024, Nevada will add that limited lines travel insurance producers, travel retailers, and the travel retailer's employees or authorized representatives will be subject to Section 2.2 of 2023 NV A.B. 7(NS) for Residents and Nonresidents.
The limited lines travel insurance producer and each travel retailer, or travel retailer's employee or authorized representative, who offers and disseminates travel insurance under the producer's license will be subject to:
a. disciplinary action provisions in NV ST 683A.451 through NV ST 683A.520;
b. corrective action and fine provisions in Section 2.2 of 2023 NV A.B. 7(NS); and
c. unfair trade practices and fraud provisions in Insurance Title 57, Chapter 686A.
