Update to Georgia Adding a New Line of Authority
Effective on 8/12/2022 GA will add the _Agent - Georgia Access_ LOA for R, NR, RLR, and NRLR. A new background question will be added for R and NR applications.
Application for R and NR - $100 fee when applying for Accident & Sickness and Agent - Georgia Access together. - $20 fee when applying only for Agent - Georgia Access Renewal for R and NR - $100 and renewed with Accident & Sickness LOA Codes - R - 288/12902 - NR - 287/12902 Background Question - The non-uniform background question for R, and NR applications to be added: "Have you completed the FFE Individual Market Training for the current Plan Year and passed the related training exam?" The Georgia Access Model is included in Section 1332 waiver submitted by the state of Georgia that would change how people enroll in health insurance in Georgia. This new model would eliminate the use of the HealthCare.gov enrollment platform in Georgia and the associated federal outreach activities. Instead in Georgia, enrollment in individual-market plans would occur only through private insurer agents and brokers, and Medicaid enrollment would occur only through the state. \_\_\_\_\_\_\_
