Maryland Effective June 3, 2024, Maryland company appointment renewal invoices will be available for payment through August 30, 2024. Termination deadline is May 24, 2024.

Alabama Effective July 1, 2024, Alabama will be implementing changes related to surplus lines. See attachment for full details.

California On April 30, 2024, California announced a fingerprint fee increase that became effective May 1, 2024. See attachment for full details.

Mississippi Effective April 26, 2024, Mississippi enacted House Bill 819 which includes removing the prelicensing requirement for an individual that is seeking licensure for the life line of authority only. See Section 3 of the attached for all prelicensing exemptions.

Oklahoma Effective May 3, 2024, Oklahoma will begin offering a new transaction type to process individual and business entity primary name updates.

California Effective January 1, 2025, California will be making changes to Continuing Education general requirements for residents related to life and annuities. See attachment for full details

Kansas Effective April 26, 2024, a new transaction type will be implemented for Kansas to process individual and business entity primary name updates.

South Carolina On April 22, 2024, South Carolina issued a bulletin to announce the licensing of temporary nonresident adjusters and motor vehicle physical damage appraisers to assist with claims related to the recent storm on April 20, 2024. See attachment for full details.

Vermont On April 11, 2024, Vermont announced 2024 company appointment renewal dates. Termination Deadline: May 31, 2024 Invoice Renewal Period: June 3 through June 30, 2024
