Effective January 1, 2026, Kansas is reducing fees for several license classes. Business Licenses For resident, nonresident, and nonresident renewal applications, the following business license classes will decrease from $50 to $40: - Credit - Car Rental - Portable Electronics Individual and Business (Resident) Applications - Individual applications and resident business applications will decrease from $15 to $10. - Nonresident applications will decrease from $50 to $40. Individual Nonresident New/Reinstatement - New or reinstatement nonresident individual licenses will decrease from $150 to $140. Business License Without a Home State (Portable Electronics) - Fees will decrease from $15 to $10.

Effective December 12, 2025, Washington will update their business rules. These changes include: - Allowing reinstatements - Fees associated with reinstatement - Designated Responsible Licensed Producer requirements - Affiliation requirements Please see attached for the fee breakdown.

Effective January 1, 2026, Illinois will be updating the initial and renewal fees for nonresident Public Adjusters. - Initial Fee - Old Fee:$250.00 - New Fee:$500.00 - Reinstatement Fee - Old Fee:$500.00 - New Fee:$1000.00 - License Renewal Fee - Old Fee:$250.00 - New Fee:$500.00
Effective January 8, 2026, North Dakota will add Pharmacy Benefit Manager as a new license class for firms. This new license class can be processed as a: - Resident Licensing / Resident Licensing Renewal - Nonresident Licensing / Nonresident Renewal - Nonresident Licensing No Home State / Nonresident Renewals No Home State
Effective January 1, 2026, Rhode Island will begin requiring continuing education (CE) for the following license classes: - Company Adjusters - Independent Adjusters - Resident Public Adjusters
For Company/Independent Adjusters, the CE will be required for resident applicants and any applicants who designate Rhode Island as the Designated Home State.
