Effective July 1, 2025, Utah will be updating the Fingerprint Fee from $27.00 to $32.00 for resident individual licensing on the following license classes: - Consultant - Independent Adjuster - Limited Line Producer - Managing General Agent - Producer Individual - Public Adjuster - Reinsurance Intermediary - Surplus Lines Producer - Third Party Administrator

Effective June 16, 2025, New Mexico has declared a disaster due to the Trout Fire in southwest New Mexico. The Department of Licensing is asking any adjuster deployed to New Mexico to please submit their application and email Agents.Licensing@osi.nm.gov to advise the nature of the application for expedited processing.

Posted June 13, 2025, Florida eliminated the ‘diligent effort’ requirement. Diligent effort is defined as 'seeking coverage from and having been rejected by at least three authorized insurers currently writing this type of coverage, and documenting these rejections.

Effective July 19, 2025, Georgia will add a new status reason, “HB410 (House Bill 410) of 2025”. This status applies specifically to Business Entity Branch license types.
Effective June 10, 2025, Michigan's insurance licensing examinations vendor (PSI) will no longer offer remote proctoring. After this date, new registrations for remote proctored exams will not be accepted. For further details, please refer to the attached information.

Effective January 1, 2026, Oregon’s limited Lines Travel Insurance Producer and Travel Insurance for residents and nonresidents licensing requirements are getting revised, and actions taken to travel agents if insurance laws are violated are being expanded.
