Idaho Makes Changes For Residents For Appointment Renewals And Initial Appointments
Effective July 1, 2024, Idaho made changes for residents involving rule removal and rule language updates.
The following rule for appointment renewal of a managing general agent has been removed.
The managing general agent must continue to be licensed as an agent.
The following rule for the initial appointment was updated.
A producer is required to obtain an appointment to act as an agent of an insurer. The insurer's annual continuation fee includes agent appointment and renewal of appointment.
