Message from Director Cameron: "Rise with the Wave"
At the recent all-staff meeting, Director Cameron shared an inspiring Hawaiian-themed message about embracing change with resilience, unity, and purpose. Drawing from Hawaiian values like _loli_ (transformation), _imi ola_ (to thrive), and _kākou_ (we’re in this together), he encouraged staff to face challenges with courage and continue making a difference together.

Preliminary Health Insurance Rates for 2026 Released
The DOI has published proposed health insurance rates for 2026 individual and small group plans. The public is encouraged to review and comment before rates are finalized.

Idaho State Fire Marshal Annual Report & Incident Updates
The 2024 Annual Report has been submitted to Governor Little, with statewide fire service data. The newsletter also includes a "how to" on preparing one's home for a wildfire.
