Hawaii Requires Reinstatement Fees to be Requested Electronically
As of March 21, 2022, Hawaii will require all reinstatements (nonrenewals or licenses surrendered within one year of inactivation) to be handled electronically. Checks will not be accepted.
The following licenses require online reactivation:
1\. Resident Limited Lines Self-Service Storage Producer licenses
2\. Resident & Nonresident Crop Adjuster – Limited Licenses
3\. Resident & Nonresident Independent Adjuster licenses
4\. Resident & Nonresident Insurance Producer Licenses
5\. Resident & Nonresident Limited Lines Motor Vehicle Rental Company Producer Licenses
6\. Resident & Nonresident Limited Lines Producer Licenses
7\. Resident & Nonresident Public Adjuster license
8\. Resident & Nonresident Surplus Lines Broker Licenses
9\. Resident & Nonresident Third-Party Administrators
10.Resident & Nonresident Workers’ Compensation Adjuster – Limited Licenses
An exam is required if a license is not reactivated within one year of inactivation. If longer than a year, an exam is required.
