Effective July 10th**, **2026**,** the** **District of Columbia will update the existing Lines of Authority descriptions. The new descriptions will be available for display and for electronic applications.

Starting July 9th, 2026, at 4 PM Central Time, electric applications will be shut off. Processing is expected to resume on July 10th, 2026, at approximately 9:30 AM Central Time.
