Alaska DHS Independent Adjusters and Portable Electronic Adjusters

Effective June 12, 2026, Alaska will offer Designated Home State electronic licensing for Independent Adjusters and Portable Electronic Adjusters and adding additional Non-Uniform Questions (NUQ) .

**A1.** State Specific Question for all Adjuster Designated Home State Applications: 

Did you qualify for this license type by passing an adjuster examination?:

**A1A**. If yes, which state:  \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_.       

Note: Not required if Key Value A1 is “NO” 

**A2**. State Specific Question for all Adjuster Designated Home State Applications: 

Non Resident Adjusters are required to complete Continuing Education in a state where they hold an active license and have a Continuing Education requirement; Otherwise, they must complete AK Continuing Education requirements. What state will you designate to complete Continuing Education?
