Posted January 21, 2026, the Maryland Insurance Administration issued a bulletin to inform all insurers in Maryland on how to submit notifications to the Administration when a producer's appointment is terminated “for cause." Insurers may use one of the following two methods to make the required notification to the Commissioner:
1. Complete the online form located at: https://marylandinsurance.my.site.com/regulations/s/enforcement-intake?language=en_US . This link allows the insurer to submit the notification and any supporting documents directly to the Maryland Insurance Administration's case management system; or
2. The notification and all supporting documents can be emailed to enforcement.mia@maryland.gov.
