On September 6, 2024, the Nevada Division of Insurance indicated that it appears the business rule preventing nonresident adjuster license applicants from applying in Nevada when they hold a producer license in their home state is being applied in some cases where it should not be. Those who have a resident producer license in a state other than Nevada and don’t hold a nonresident producer license in Nevada, are eligible to apply for a nonresident adjuster license in Nevada. The state indicated they will file trouble tickets to resolve this issue. In the meantime, a manual application can be submitted using the following information.
