Nevada Adjuster Business Rules
On September 6, 2024, the Nevada Division of Insurance indicated that it appears the business rule preventing nonresident adjuster license applicants from applying in Nevada when they hold a producer license in their home state is being applied in some cases where it should not be. Those who have a resident producer license in a state other than Nevada and don’t hold a nonresident producer license in Nevada, are eligible to apply for a nonresident adjuster license in Nevada. The state indicated they will file trouble tickets to resolve this issue. In the meantime, a manual application can be submitted using the following information.
Nevada Adding Nonresident Bail Agent Appointments & Terminations
Effective November 9, 2023, Nevada will be adding a new license class of Nonresident Bail Agent for Appointments and Terminations. New offering will include license class 3135 Nonresident Bail Agent with line of authority 569 Not Applicable.

Nevada Removing Reapplication Fees
Effective March 10th, 2023, Nevada will no longer require reapplication fees for Resident License, Nonresident License and Nonresident Adjuster License applications.
Nevada Adding Reinstatement Period
Effective July 18, 2022, a reinstatement period will be added for resident producer and producer firm individuals. One will have up to one year post expiration date to reinstate their license. After this, the applicant must reapply.
