The New Mexico Office of Superintendent of Insurance Announces Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) License and Renewal Process Changes
Effective December 1, 2023, The New Mexico Office of Superintendent of Insurance announced via a bulletin, changes to the process of renewing applications and renewals for Pharmacy Benefit Managers.
- Pharmacy Benefit Managers are required to be licensed in New Mexico if operating within the state.
- New and Renewal License applications will now be handled through the Company Licensing Bureau
- Renewals will be available in January 2024 and will be emailed to Pharmacy Benefits Managers
