Effective May 1, 2023, West Virginia Individual Adjusters will now receive a $50 Biannual Renewal Fee for any adjusters with an expiration date on or after July 31, 2023.
West Virginia has released their 2023 Company Appointment Renewal dates for Insurance Producers. The renewal period is June 6 through August 31, 2023 and the termination deadline is May 31

KS ST 40-4906 (Effective 7/1/2023) - Per 2023 KS H.B. 2090(NS) - 1) FEE SUMMARY - Specified that the producer application fee is "not to exceed" $30 and the biennial license fee is "not to exceed" $50. 2) INDIVIDUAL NONRESIDENT LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: APPLICATION - a) Specified that the producer application fee is "not to exceed" $30. b) Added producer application fee publication requirements. 3) LICENSE CONTINUATION: LICENSE TERM AND CONTINUATION - Specified that the renewal fee is not to exceed $50.

ND ST 26.1-26-54 (Effective 8/1/2023) - Per 2023 ND S.B. 2173(NS) - LIMITED LINES: TRAVEL AGENT - a) Revised the "limited lines travel insurance producer" definition to include travel administrators and exclude MGAs and a designation requirement for producers. b) Added "travel insurance" definition. c) Revised the limited lines travel insurance producer licensing requirements.

Effective May 31, 2023, US Bank will be replacing Union Bank for all Automated Clearing House Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) transactions with California Department of Insurance (Department). First Data and Fiserv services will not be impacted and will continue to work with US Bank. The EFT bank account and routing numbers will change for ACH credit method. No change is expected on ACH debit method. See attachment for full details.
