Alaska A list of eligible surplus insurers for the state of Alaska has been published.
January 28
Oregon This announcement aims to clarify the previous announcement that all Adjusters renewing their license in January 2022 need to obtain 24 hours of CE. It is made clear that OR is allowing for complete reciprocity with the adjuster's home or designated home state. This approval will happen automatically so there is no need to file for course approval.
April 01
North Carolina North Carolina is to begin offering Bail Bondsman License Classes for Individuals for resident licensing renewals. The licensing fee is $200/license and the renewal processing fee is $76/license.
January 28
Louisiana Louisiana introduces the LDI Industry Access System (IAS) as the new online method to submit continuing education courses. Through the introduction of a new module, education providers can submit new course filings, submit course renewals, and report repeat course offering schedules for already approved courses.
February 14
Arkansas Arkansas has finalized the required course of instruction requirements for adjusters and producers.
January 28
Connecticut Connecticut will add the Line of Business assignment of 'None' to the Company license class, Risk Retention Group. The following LOBs will no longer be assigned to the Risk Retention Group license class: Auto Liability (Bodily Injury and Physical Damage), Commercial Multiple Peril, Servicing Existing Business - No New or Renewal Business, and Liability Other than Auto (Bodily Injury and Property Damage. Note the state update for more detail.

Mississippi Mississippi has updated its CE requirements for residents and nonresidents. Annuity training is required for both.
January 26
Connecticut Connecticut has removed their CE requirement that at least 6 hours are required for each line of authority held at the beginning of the biennium. Additionally, 24 CE hours may be carried from one two year license period to the next.
January 25
Florida Florida has changed payment vendors for the online application and eAppoint systems. This will result in some payment screens changing in appearance and the option to enter an email to receive payment confirmation.
March 16
Massachusetts Massachusetts will convert to State Based systems on March 16, 2022. This change will impact the Producer Database as well as NIPR Gateway products.
