Moní Brown

Moni Brown is a lapsed writer now moonlighting as a privacy professional digging deep into data privacy and protection.

She formerly ran projects and programs under the Data Protection and Privacy branch of Stripe's legal team, including the Data Privacy Program, yearly SOC audits, business continuity and tabletop exercises, and various other initiatives. She spent 2+ years bringing Stripe into GDPR compliance, and expanding the privacy knowledge of Stripes through training and development and awareness training. She has worked closely with legal teams, compliance and security teams on a range of topics like Vendor Management and Third Party Risk Management, Cyber Security, and payment regulations and related regulatory audits. She is a plant mom (hello jungle!), an avid reader, and likes to make things, like macrame, art, embroidery, knitting embroidery… or any creative outlet that falls in line with these examples.
