Allan L. McVey, CPCU, ARM, AAI, AAM, AIS

Prior to his second tenure as insurance commissioner, Mr. McVey was a medical claims examiner with the West Virginia Workers Compensation; an underwriter with a large national insurance company; a licensed insurance agent and broker with several firms, both local and national and sales and management of the West Virginia operations for a large national insurance brokerage firm. His state government experience includes the Workers Compensation Fund, two terms as Insurance Commissioner, and Secretary of Administration.
