Effective August 14th, 2025, Nebraska will be updating the initial, renewal, and reinstatement fees for Nonresident Insurance Producers.  - Initial / Renewal Fee - $100 - Reinstatement Fee - $225

Virginia Allowing Addresses, Phone Numbers, and Email Updates Electronically

Effective September 12, 2025, Virginia will be allowing business entities to update the following data electronically. - Business Address - Mailing Address - Email - Phone number

Arizona Switching to PSI for Processing CE Credits

Effective September 1, 2025, Arizona will utilize PSI as the new official vendor for processing Continuing Education (CE) credits. Please see the attachment for more information. 

Pennsylvania Soliciting Comments Regarding the Surplus Lines Export List

Posted August 5, 2025, Pennsylvania is soliciting comments regarding the surplus lines export list. All comments must be submitted on or before September 12, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. to: Greg Elam, Esq. Associate General Counsel Greg.A.Elam@wv.gov Please see the attachment for more information.

North Dakota LOA and DRLP Validation Updates

Effective September 12, 2025, North Dakota will update its existing Lines of Authority to align more closely with national standards. The state is also implementing additional validation rules for Designated Responsible Producers (DRPs) listed on electronically submitted applications.

FSLSO Notice Regarding Insurers Being Out of Compliance

Update August 14, 2025, Markel International Insurance Company Limited (NAIC # AA1121425) is now in compliance and will remain active in SLIP+. Update August 13, 2025, Markel Insurance S.E. (NAIC # AA1340044) is now in compliance and will remain active in SLIP+. August 1, 2025, Florida’s Surplus Lines Service Office (FSLSO) issued a notice regarding the following surplus lines insurers being out of compliance.  - Markel Insurance S.E. (NAIC # AA1340044) - Markel International Insurance Company Limited  (NAIC # AA1121425) FSLSO will be removing these carriers from its filing platform on August 15, 2025, if the filing requirement is not met.
